2026 - 2027 Audition Information

The scheduled audition dates for the Washington Douglass Chorale’s 2026–2027 season have passed. If you are interested in joining the Chorale or would like to inquire about future audition opportunities, please email info@washingtondouglasschorale.org. Please include your name, email address, voice part, and a brief description of your singing experience.

Audition Process

Our Artistic Directors will facilitate the auditions. Auditions will last approximately 15 minutes in length to include a short interview and singing session. Please come prepared with two (2) songs contrasting in style with a written score or memorized. Accompaniment will not necessarily be provided so please be prepared to sing a capella. Singers will be asked to vocalize for range, sight-read and perform an ear test. If you are interested in becoming a paid singer, please mention this in your email. Professional experience is required.

Weekly Rehearsals

We rehearse on Sunday evenings from 7:00-9:30 pm in Washington, DC.
