AUDITIONS

2026 - 2027 Audition Information

We are holding auditions for the Washington Douglass Chorale’s 2026-2027 season on Saturday, August 29, 2026 and Sunday, August 30, 2026. If you would like to audition for Scott and T, please send an email to info@washingtondouglasschorale.org which includes: your name, your email address, your voice part, and a description of your singing experience. Audition Process

Our Artistic Directors will facilitate the auditions. Auditions will last approximately 15 minutes in length to include a short interview and singing session. Please come prepared with two (2) songs contrasting in style with a written score or memorized. Accompaniment will not necessarily be provided so please be prepared to sing a capella. Singers will be asked to vocalize for range, sight-read and perform an ear test. If you are interested in becoming a paid singer, please indicate on the WDC Audition Form (professional experience is required).

Weekly Rehearsals

We rehearse on Sunday evenings from 7:00-9:30 pm in Washington, DC.
