Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Website, WDC and service providers may receive technical and usage information such as:
-

The information available in a particular visit depends on your device, browser settings, consent choices, and the features you use.
How We Use Information
We may use information to:
-
operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Website;
-
provide information about concerts, programs, auditions, and other activities;
-
respond to inquiries and manage audition communications and scheduling;
-
manage newsletter subscriptions and send requested communications;
-
support ticketing, registrations, donations, acknowledgments, and related administration;
-
understand Website use and measure the effectiveness of communications and outreach;

Newsletter and Email Communications
The public newsletter form requires an email address and may also accept a first and last name. Newsletter submissions are sent through a WDC Cloudflare Worker to Mailchimp. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a honeypot, and related controls to help identify automated submissions. Subscription confirmation uses double opt-in.
You may unsubscribe from marketing email by using the unsubscribe link in the message. WDC may retain the information needed to record and honor an opt-out and may continue to send non-marketing messages when appropriate for an activity or request.
Auditions and Scheduling
Audition inquiries may be submitted by email and may include a name, email address, voice part, and description of singing experience. WDC may link to an external scheduling service for audition time-slot booking. Information entered on that service is handled under the provider's own privacy policy and terms.
Ticketing, Donations, and External Transactions
The Website may link to third-party services for ticketing, donations, registrations, and scheduling. When you follow one of these links, you leave the WDC Website and complete the activity on the external platform. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms. WDC may receive transaction, donor, ticket, contact, or acknowledgment information needed to administer the activity.
The Website and an external transaction platform may use common tags, links, or query parameters to measure visits and actions across the two environments.
Cookies, Analytics, and Campaign Measurement
The Website uses cookies and similar technologies as described in the Cookie Policy.
WDC uses Google Analytics 4 to understand Website traffic and use, including page views, referral sources, engagement, and technical information about devices and browsers. Analytics storage is denied by default and is updated after the Website receives the applicable analytics or performance-cookie consent.
WDC uses Meta Pixel for campaign and outreach measurement. Meta-related marketing and advertising consent remains denied unless a visitor accepts marketing cookies through the Website's consent banner.
You can accept or decline non-essential cookies when the Website banner is presented and can also use the browser controls described in the Cookie Policy.
Website Providers and Embedded Services
The Website is delivered through Squarespace and may use services provided by Mailchimp and Cloudflare for newsletter signup, Google Analytics 4 for analytics, Google Custom Search for site search, Meta Pixel for campaign measurement, YouTube for media, an external scheduling service for audition booking, and AudienceView/OvationTix for ticketing and donations.
These providers may receive technical information, such as an Internet Protocol address, device or browser information, page address, referral information, and interaction data, when their resources are loaded or used. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies and terms.
